National Nurses Week is May 6-12
Wilson & Son Jewelers, along with Zachy’s and The Scarsdale Business Alliance, is proud to be partnering up with our neighbors at White Plains Hospital to support National Nurses Week from May 6th – May 12th.
Words are not enough to thank all these brave men and women working on the front lines to help care for Westchester County residents. After we provided meals for these health care heroes last month, it was mentioned to us that there would be a larger way to recognize ALL of the hospital nursing staff in May, to which we quickly said “YES!!!”
Zachys has worked with its industry partners on a wine donation for the entire nursing staff! We at Wilson & Son are donating a raffle prize for the nursing team during this special week, and The Team at Zachy’s are accepting donated raffle items through Friday May 1st at Zachy’s. If you are an area resident and would like to participate, we are asking you to contact your favorite Scarsdale business or restaurant to purchase raffle prizes on behalf of this effort.
Wilson & Son Jewelers has called the Westchester County community home for over 100 years and Zachys for over 75 years and we are grateful to have the chance to give back in this special way.

Update On Feeding The Essential Workers
As many of you know I am one of the co-vice chairs on the board at Feeding Westchester. I take a lot of pride and passion in volunteering my time.
Our neighbors are struggling right now, but so many organizations and people are rising to the occasion saying, “How can I help?” In the month of March, Feeding Westchester has distributed over 1.7 million pounds of food. More than half of our team is on the front lines working shoulder-to-shoulder with Feeding America, New York State government officials, the National Guard and our local governments to make sure members of our community get the nutritious food they need to survive.
Feeding Westchester’s mission means a lot to me, and I hope you’ll consider contributing. Every little bit helps.
